Amex consumers have reported over 412 official complaints related to Rewards. Out of the 412 consumer complaints against Amex, 33% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how Amex responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 11% of consumer complaints against Amex resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 19% resulted in non-monetary compensation.

The terms of the offer stated that the - points would be available within 6-8 weeks of meeting the minimum spend requirement.
