Amex Credit card department,
Dear CFPB, This complaint is in regards to American Express not awarding a bonus offer on a credit card after meeting the T & C and minimum organic spending requirement. Several months ago, - Membership Reward points were awarded by a representative and a chat log was indicative of this. This bonus offer was attached to an American Express Platinum card that I had downgraded after a poor experience at a - - in -. The points were awarded and listed as 'available, ' leading me to believe all terms and conditions of the offer were fulfilled. Strangely, I was not given any indication or letter about the lack of bonus offer and believe I may have been misled by false advertising. I would like to request intervention. Thank you.
