This complaints involves an offer to receive - Delta reward points if I applied for the American Express credit card and spent $1000.00 in 3 months. -/-/- I applied for this promotion. The offer was if I spent $1000.00 within 3 months, I would receive - on my sky miles account. On -/-/-, I was going to plan a trip using the - sky miles that I expected to be available on my account. When I looked, the promotional offer was not applied to my account. I contacted American Express this morning and spent 33 minutes with a gentleman, who began to look into this matter. After 33 minutes of holding and not hearing anything more I hung up. I called right back and got a lady who gave me a complaint number of -. She indicated that my inquiry would take 6-8 weeks to investigate. Please look into this for me. Since I met the requirements, It seems that the sky miles reward should have been applied in a timely manner as advertised. Thank you, - -
