Amex Credit card department,
I opened an American Express - ( Amex ) credit card. Amex advertised bonus starpoints of - for a friend referral. On -/-/2016, I contacted Amex to explain technical issues with their website prohibiting my friend from applying. I spoke to - at Amex, ID -, who asked for my friend to apply and that the points - would be awarded later ( that I would get credit ). This never occurred despite my follow-up phone call on -/-/- with - ID -. I am owed - bonus starpoints for referring my friend, - -, who became an approved Amex cardmember as a result of my direction. I am also owed an additional - bonus starpoints. On -/-/2016, I explained to the representative, Amen ID -, that I had also referred my friend-, and that I never received bonus points for that. Amen stated that he was sorry and would award me - bonus starpoints. Unfortunately, I only received - bonus starpoints. I am owed - bonus starpoints as a result of the promise of the representative, Amen, on my conversation on -/-/2016. In sum, I request that Amex provide me - bonus starpoints for the - issues explained and to force them to comply with the terms of their consumer debt services.
