Amex Credit card department,
Am Ex Account ending in - Membership Rewards Number- - On - -, 2016, I applied for and was approved for the American Express Platinum card. This card required spending $3000.00 within three months and receiving - points in return ( - ). Am Ex is now refusing to honor this agreement ( as well as - other people who are in this same situation ). All of my expenditures were legitimate and I reached the spending required on - -, 2016. Put simply, Am Ex accidentally made public a private offer, I was approved and they are now seeking to punish those who appropriately applied and were approved. Additionally, Am Ex has frozen my ENTIRE rewards account, preventing me from not only using the - points for the Platinum card, but an additional - points which are in the account and have nothing to do with this promotion. I am simply asking that Am Ex honors its agreements and stop punishing their customers. I have been an Am Ex member for almost 20 years, they have made thousands of dollars in profit from me, I have never made a late payment and there is no basis for the denial of the benefit Am Ex agreed to.
