Amex Credit card department,
I got an American Express Business gold rewards card with - miles if i Spent - dollars within 3 months. About a month in I had spent $4000.00 dollars and my accounts were all suspended for a financial review. I was very prompt sending in all of the required documents and the financial review ended up still taking over two months due to the account manager taking a 2 week vacation in the middle of the review, without telling me. During these 2 months, the deadline to spend the $5000.00 dollars passed. American express made it impossible for me to spend to money in order to earn the bonus. Getting the bonus was a huge decision in me choosing american express, and they suspended my account during most of the time in which I could meet the spending requirement. I filed a complaint with them but they are not doing anything. Since my account has been available for use again, I have met the $5000.00 spending requirement, but have still not received the - american express my rewards points. My spending deadline was - -, 2016. My account was put into financial review and frozen on - -, 2016. My account was unfrozen on - -, 2016.
