Once I saw this I logged into the TransUnion website and tried to find what it was and cancel. But I was unable to. So today I called them and I spoke to a sweet girl that I could barely hear or understand. She did acknowledge the charge and told me I had been signed up for a week trial of some sort that ended up with me getting charged -/-/-/mo. I accessed the respective links from this site : - since the fees are state dependent. There was no issue with - and -. I was able to complete and freeze the account online. With TransUnion, it first asked me to create an account. Then upon entering all details it said could not complete it online and asked to call a number. It was obvious it was an outsourced call, and the first thing I have to provide is my SSN. Seriously? I am trying to put a credit freeze due to a hacking of my personal information, and now I have to give my SSN to someone... |
