Equifax Issue - spoke with a salesperson to understand their credit monitoring services. Hung up, did more research and signed up online. When specific feature I was promised was not available, I called Equifax back. They indicated I needed to signup for a more expensive service to get the feature I wanted. I agreed, then Equifax ' system went down and they could not upgrade me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke with supervisor on my signup challenges and in the discussion found out Equifax solution did not have the specific feature I wanted. Supervisor agreed to give me a refund. Never received refund. Called back and was told that my credit had been rejected because I signed up on line. If I had signed up by talking to a salesperson they could have processed my credit. In other words they do not stand behind their product or salesforce or they are calling me a liar. Hard to understand how a credit bureau who reports on others integrity does n't have the integrity to stand behind their sales team - and by the way I had the salesperson 's name.
