Kia agreed to a payment arrangement where I paid - more each month until i was current. A week after the arrangement, they did not accept the first payment under the payment arrangement and had the vehicle illegally repossessed from my gated community. Hyundai Capital America Consumer loan managing the loan or lease June 3, 2015 - I purchased a - through a - dealer and financed it through Hyundai Motor Finance ( HMF ). I set up autopay to HMF from my checking account. The loan was paid off in - of 2015. HMF debited my account more than was due for the final payment. Then HMF continued to debit my account each month after the loan was paid off ( and after I had received the pink slip from the California DMV ). I called HMF on - - to revoke autopay and to get my money back. Autopay should have been automatically stopped when the loan was paid. They never took the money out of the account never contacted me about a problem and just showed up and took the car and would not let me have it back. I asked ( over the phone ) Hyundai to mail me a buy out package, they indicated that it would take a week to get the information in the mail.
