Hyundai Capital America Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle lease Managing the loan or lease California
I leased a vehicle in - - ( Hyundai Sonata ) and traded it in for a different brand car lease ( Mercedes Benz ) in - -. We received the payoff amount of - - and change, which new car dealer confirmed and paid it off. In - - I received a call from the new dealer that the Hyundai is asking for more money to release the title of the vehicle. I provided the new dealer with several monthly statements that I had stating - balance. A few weeks after providing the new dealer with the statements, I received a default notice that asked me for the payment of - - and change. I have made several attempts to call Hyundai 's default department and no one seems to know what is going on until I spoke to someone high ranking on -/-/- at - hrs who made no sense and stated that payoff amount that we quote is not an actual payoff. I have never had such a bad experience with a car company before. " Payoff '' to laymen folks mean " payoff '' and I believe that these people are delaying the process just to send the file to collections. Dear Sir/Madam, I really need your help in resolving this matter and can not really afford to be ripped off as a consumer and a law abiding citizen. Please help me deal with this unfair and greedy corporation.
