Hyundai Capital America Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle lease Managing the loan or lease Pennsylvania
I returned my vehicle to Hyundai Finance and was told by the dealership that since I had Wheel and Tire insurance that I paid for monthly I would not incur any damage or wear charges. After turning it in, I have received a $600.00 bill from Hyundai for rims, tires, and " bumper damage ''. They said they took pictures and placed them online and the damage was severe. At the dealership we walked around the car and the dealer said he saw nothing that would involve them charging me after the case for wear and tire in excess of normal. He said the rims and tires were worn and would be an issue if we did not have insurance, but since we did we were good to go with turning it in. Had I known that the insurance would not cover this when turned in we would have had it replaced first while covered, then turned the vehicle in. They are squeezing money out of us when we were paying for the coverage. We were told something by a representative of their company that apparently contradicts what they now say.
