On -/-/2015, I bought a new car, and traded in my - - for a - -. On -/-/2015, - sent a payoff check to - for the balance of my loan. On -/-/2015, Hyundai Motor Finance took an unauthorized payment from my checking account via ACH as they have been doing for 2 years. I called them, told them I no longer owned the car and asked them to cancel the ACH payments. They agreed, but told me it would take 30 days to refund my payment. I called my bank who managed to stop the payment. On -/-/2015, - again debited my account for another full payment, but I did n't catch it until Saturday -/-/2015. My bank ca n't stop the payment this time, I was too late. My understanding of the definition of fraud, applies in this case.
