Equifax Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account terms October 17, 2016 - I had - separate debts with the department of veterans affairs. These debts have been paid off and now have a zero balance. I have disputed this information 3 times with Equifax and they refuse to update this information correctly even after providing letters from the VA to them showing zero balance. I spoke with the VA and they advised they reported zero balance to Equifax for these accounts.... |

I just tried filing a dispute online with Equifax it asked me there for verification questions and they found my credit file. I wanted to get some other information from my credit report and came back and the session had timed out, so I went through the dispute process again from the beginning and asked me for new verification questions and I 've had the same problem in the past and asks me questions that have nothing to do with my credit history so I answer the appropriate answer none of the above. and keep getting the same response we can not verify your identity please fax your dispute. ... |
