Equifax Credit reporting department,
Incorrect information on credit report Account terms Maryland
I completed and signed a foreclosure settlement with - - - on a property through my attorney on -/-/-. Shortly after, another lender I do not know and never had any dealings with named " - - - '' began sending me default notices and late payment bills after the settlement agreement was recorded on - -. I was never able to get in touch with - or find out how they are involved. Since then, my credit report shows both " late payments '' and " foreclosure '' listed under also - - management, in addition to the late payments listed for -, with identical origination dates. In other words, the settled debt it is now listed as duplicate on my report - once as - and again as the - company who I 've never had dealings with. After many letters to all - Credit reporting agencies requesting verification, I was successful in removing - entry from the - CRA back on - -. Unfortunately after repeated requests to investigate, incorrect information remains unchanged on both my - and Equifax reports and neither CRA has given me documentation of any debt owed to this - company. I have attached my foreclosure agreement I signed -/-/- and also credit reports of - and Equifax showing the incorrect - entries on my credit report.
