Incorrect information on credit report Account terms Connecticut

My client has a collections on his credit report from - - -, which has recently been charged by the Federal Trade Commission of pedaling worthless high school diplomas. -. I do not believe he should have to pay this organization, yet his credit is being spoiled. Please advise regarding how we can have the collections information removed from his credit report
