Incorrect information on credit report Account terms Montana
On -, I obtained a copy of my credit report. Within that report was a Medical collection, Account Number -, Date Opened : - ; Balance Date : - ; Balance Amount : $360.00 ; Date of Status : - ; and, Status : Closed. On -, I wrote to Equifax indicating inaccurate reporting and to validate said alleged collection. On -, Equifax responded with an entirely different account number ( - ) ; Amount - $410.00 and Balance as of - - $0.00 ). This is in violation of Federal Law due to inaccurate reporting. On -, I again wrote to Equifax asking for validation of said alleged debt. Equifax again responded on -, with the same letter that they sent to me on -. On -, I again pulled my credit report to find that Equifax is reporting the new information that they provided to me on - and -. In addition, my credit report has never been marked that this account is disputed. These are clear violations of Federal Law.
