When I tried to transfer funds from my business checking to my business savings, Chase would not allow me to transfer the money to cover the debits, even though I had more than enough available funds in my checking account to cover the transfer. When I called customer service, they instructed me to go into the branch and physically withdraw cash from my checking and deposit it into my savings. Over that time, I have paid a high number of overdraft fees and monthly fees to the institution. I feel that these fees are unfair, unethical and a predatory practice by Chase bank. There have been several instances over the last 2 years where this has happened. In - my account was charged nearly $1800.00 in fees and in - it was charged over $2000.00.
