Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low
JPMorgan Chase & Co. Bank account or service department,
Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Illinois
I have had an account with Chase for about 10 years. In the last 4 year I have been employed with a firm that does not offer direct deposit. So in order to have free checking with Chase you must have either direct deposit or keep in minimum of $2500.00 in your checking account. Because I do n't have the option of direct deposit nor can I afford to keep $2500.00 in my account I am charged what I call a poor persons fee of $12.00 a month. A lot of times I am charged this fee when there is not enough money in the account to cover it. Monday - - I was scheduled to have - automatic payments deducted. Chase instead posted the payments on a Saturday, - - in order to charge me overdraft charges on the date the deduction was due. I have never been charged an overdraft fee on the same day a charge
I have enough to cover - of the charges. They refused to refund the charges. I have been pummeled with fees over the last year. Even - in one day in - instance. - - I submitted an online payment to -. On the Chase site it says that this one time electronic payment will post in 1 business day. On my account it shows that this payment has been send and paid. - has not received this payments. I have asked that the money be put back in my account to avoid service disconnection, Chase is refusing to refund the money even thought it has been more than one business day.
