I have been a customer at Chase for years in good standing. The joint account owner on my checking account is my mother, who has been with Chase since they acquired Bank One. Due to my employment status and job change, there have been times at the end of the payment cycle where money was deposited but showing " pending. '' Other times money was put in there after - EST, but still before the end of day, and subsequent fees have been charges. There are many examples I can show, where even though my account was overdrawn by $1.00 on a pending transaction, they charged a fee for items that were " pending '' and changed to " posted. '' Since - 2015 I have paid approximately $ - in overdraft fees. I find this excessive and ask for leniency.
