I filed complaint number - because Chase charged numerous overdraft fees on my accounts after I had responsibly made sure there was enough money in them to cover all pending transactions ... I did this based on the information their mobile banking services provided me. It has been almost 2 weeks and Chase has not even responded to my complaint. THE FEES keep piling up. I went into a branch and was told that since I 'd had fees reversed in the past ( my - account was once hacked into and caused debits to my account, as well as reversals which the bank granted me because I complained about their fairness ) that I would have to just eat these ... that they have no power ... it 's the policy ... -, -, - ... .clearly the policy is to steal from people who ca n't afford it ( people with low balances ) This was not my fault. Even had it been, the amounts that were overdrawn were very small, - or - dollars ... And I deserve to have hundreds of dollars in fees because of this. It should be illegal. More and more fees are accumulating now because of pre-authorized debits that would have been covered but now ca n't be since my accounts are over - dollars in the red. It 's literally a scam ... .Chase is going to make off with hundreds of my dollars. How is this legal??
