Savings account Problems caused by my funds being low
JPMorgan Chase & Co. Bank account or service department,
Savings account Problems caused by my funds being low Illinois
I have ACH debits pending for my business savings account that are posting today. When I tried to transfer funds from my business checking to my business savings, Chase would not allow me to transfer the money to cover the debits, even though I had more than enough available funds in my checking account to cover the transfer. When I called customer service, they instructed me to go into the branch and physically withdraw cash from my checking and deposit it into my savings. I had to take off of work to go to the bank and was still unable to initially withdraw the funds from my checking account in this manner. I was told that since I have Overdraft Protection, Chase 's system put a hold on the funds and would n't enable me to initiate the transfer. After nearly an hour, the customer service rep in the branch finally removed Overdraft Protection from my account and was then able to make the transfer. Chase prohibited me from transferring the funds to cover my pending ACH withdrawals on the day that debits were posting and had I not gone into the bank, I would have been hit with a series of Overdraft Protection Fees through no fault of my own.
