Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low New York

This would be the second complaint I have against Chase in a one month period. There have been a total of 3 for the year and we are only in -. I was considering signing my children up for an after-school program so I started filling out paperwork. There was miscommunication and they withdrew the registration fee ( - ). I realized they took it and immediately called Chase. I had other things that would be coming out of the account and knew this would cause the account to go into the negative resulting in overdraft fees. The agent I spoke to advised me to call the merchant and have them refund the money. She also told me that once the fees were charged to the account to call and they would be able to reverse them. I told her they have told me I 'm no longer eligible for the courtesy fee reversals and she advised me that this was a different situation. That because of a merchant taking funds without authorization, it was not my fault the account would

They also told me nothing was notated in the account. So Chase gets away with charging me another - over miscommunication with a merchant. The merchant took the funds on - - and refunded them on - -.
