Credit reporting credit reporting company's investigation investigation took too long November 2, 2016 - I did a dispute on - - and I was told that it would take 30 days. I did another dispute on a totally different item on -/-/2016. I am now being told that the - - dispute will not be completed until -/-/2016 because they received another dispute during that time. This is unacceptable. The FCRA says that the CRA have 30 days to complete an investigation. If they can not complete this by -/-/2016, they should delete it. Enclose is the statement where they said it would be completed on -/-/2016.... |

I had all my information in it, also it saved all my passwords and would put in all my info on any app that a person went to how can you help if you could. I have tried to send letters to the credit companys and the bureaus with no response when I did get a response it said no action taken. thank you in advance... |

They did not conduct an investigation within 30 days as required. When I contacted them after 90 days, they " reopened '' the case as if it were a new investigation and then immediately said the case had been investigated. They DID NOT follow the law and remove the disputed item as they had failed to investigate it within the time frame allocated by the law. They received and signed for the letter on - -, 2016 ( I attached the return receipt ). They violated federal law by not placing " notice of dispute '' on my account within 30 days of my dispute ( I attached my credit report as well, please see pages - & - for the reporting from - - ).... |
