Credit reporting company's investigation investigation took too long
TransUnion Intermediate Holdings, Inc. Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Investigation took too long Colorado
I originally filed a dispute with TransUnion about an account they were reporting which does not belong to me. They did not conduct an investigation within 30 days as required. When I contacted them after 90 days, they " reopened '' the case as if it were a new investigation and then immediately said the case had been investigated. They DID NOT follow the law and remove the disputed item as they had failed to investigate it within the time frame allocated by the law. They then lied saying that the investigation was completed on -/-/2016. However as apparent in the saved screenshot I took on -/-/2016 of their web site it clearly shows that they had NOT completed their " investigation '' on -/-/2016. I filed a complaint previously here and absolutely NOTHING was done! I demand accountability from my government and this consumer reporting agency.
