Credit reporting company's investigation investigation took too long
TransUnion Intermediate Holdings, Inc. Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Investigation took too long Ohio
On - -, 2016, I sent a letter to Transunion disputing an erroneous judgment that just recently appeared on my credit report. This error is preventing me from buying a car, renting an apartment, and from taking out loans needed to operate my business, thereby seriously damaging me financially. After 30 days of sending this letter, I received no response at all, so sent a second letter on - -. Again I have received no response, and this issue has not been resolved. The issue date of the judgment listed on my report was over 10 years ago, and it only appeared on my credit report sometime late last year. I found out it was there after being denied credit. I sent the same letter to - on -/-/2016 and they promptly deleted the item from my report as it is very clearly in violation of Fair Credit Reporting Act. I am attaching copies of the letters I sent, along with certified mail receipts, and a copy of the letter I received from - showing where they removed the item. Thank you very much for your help in resolving this matter. Best regards, - -
