TransUnion Intermediate Holdings, Inc. Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Investigation took too long Massachusetts
I noticed - hard pulls on my credit, I first sent letters to each creditor that had pulled my credit and NONE were able to provide justification for the inquiries. I then disputed with TransUnion via letter on -/-/-, I received a notice that the investigation had begun on -/-/-. After failing to receive evidence of the validity of the pulls, I sent a letter via certified mail on - requesting that the pulls be removed pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). TransUnion responded stating that the investigation was started ( the same generic form letter I received on -/-/-. I then filed a complaint with CFPB on -/-/-. TransUnion responded with the same generic response and told me to contact the creditors directly ( I ALREADY DID!! ) PLEASE enforce the Fair Credit Reporting Act and force TransUnion to remove these unauthorized inquiries. I am also filing a complaint with the FTC.
