My Discover Credit Card ending in - was compromised and some unauthorized charges occurred, which I reported promptly. The Card was closed, and an investigation was initiated. After the completion of the Fraud Investigation, a new Account was set up, transferring my credit and balances ; and I was contacted by the Customer Protection Team. All I want is for this account to be removed from my profile as they promised. I settled a debt that was n't even mine, and now they continue to report to all - bureaus. I contact the vendor, via email, and they promptly told me to return them, they would test them and either send them back or replace them. So i did.
