I notified Discover, after my -/-/- statement, that I had only charged $6.00 on a tip, on - 's -. This was charged on -. This is the - 's located on - - - -, - -, -. Discover gave me a conditional credit which they reversed because - 's said this was a valid charge. I talked to a female assistant manager around -/-/- and finally talked to - -, the store manager. I explained that my friend, - -, paid for the bill with his gift card and he left $20.00 in cash on the table. I told my friend that the tip off the $20.00 would n't be enough so I was kind enough to leave a tip on my Discover of $6.00. That is ALL I left. - 's charged me $23.00, of which I did NOT authorize. It even says on the receipt that $6.00 was paid, the word paid was not next to any other line, and it should not have been because I only authorized $6.00. - should talk to the server, - -, and ask what happened to the cash on the table. They have to keep a record of their


pocketing extra cash, not reporting it to the IRS, and allowing the - to rip other consumers off with misleading and confusing charges on their kiosks ( - ). I am holding - partly responsible because they program their kiosks to mislead customers at these restaurants. - said he would kick the matter to his Corp. dept. and let me know. - would not refund their erroneous charge to me. I was very polite and did not raise my voice the whole time. I e-mailed - on -/-/- but he had not responded. I do n't want - 's to do this to other customers and - should review their programming to not take advantage of consumers. I spoke to me friend - - on -/-/-, and he said exactly what I said about payment. He needed no coaching and he is willing to be a witness on this matter.
