January 16, 2017 - I was making on time payments, and the credit company ( Navy Federal ) was reporting late payments, even though my statements were paid on time. I contacted Navy Federal with five certified letters, stating that they were reporting my account wrong on the - major credit bureaus, and how they were in violation of the fcra, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. There has n't been any replies, so I continued to send letters, stating that they are violating federal law. January 12, 2017 - I have a checking, savings and credit card account with Navy Federal Credit Union. I failed to make a payment on my credit card and the credit union has locked me out of my account. I am not able to access my checking and savings account. From my understanding, Navy Federal is not permitted to participate in these practices.... |
December 8, 2016 - Navy Federal Credit Union is reporting a credit card collection account on my - credit report that does not belong to me. For a brief time, I had been added to this credit card as an authorized user back in 2010, but the authorized user status was taken off over 6 years ago. September 28, 2016 - There was a balance on my credit card. I was informed that the money from my savings account would be released ice I paid the balance. After passing the balance, they transfer money from my savings toward the credit card. I was never notified of there intention to close the credit card or to take money from my savings account. August 11, 2016 - I am joint on a credit card with my sister. My sister has charged it to the limit - twice. She and her husband paid it off in - 2015. At that time I was to be removed from the account after 30 day to ensure it would be reported correctly on my credit report. However, when I called to make sure I was removed, they said the account had been closed, but they would have to reopen it to ensure proper in reporting, so I said in thirty days I would be removed. June 13, 2016 - I applied for a loan on -/-/-. ( Navy FCU ) .I called to get my status and was told I was turned down. They suggested I apply for a credit card ( NFCU/- ). I did so so. They did not tell me they would pull my credit again. Again I was turned down and was told by the person on the phone to apply for a loan consolidation. June 1, 2016 - Navy Federal Credit Union is Reporting an Authorized User File on my Account, both myself and the Original Owner have asked for me to be removed, - is stating that the information is accurate, however, I am not the owner of this account, it is showing late payments and affecting my credit. Just as the other bureaus have removed this from my file, I expect - to remove it as well.... |
May 12, 2016 - I had a secured credit card with Navy Federal Credit Union ( NFCU ). I asked to close the account and use my security deposit to pay the account. NFCU did not use my security deposit to pay off the account. The account became delinquent without my knowledge. When I found out about this NFCU made me pay more money and did not remove the delinquent account from my credit file as they promised to do prior to me paying them.... |

Basically the account rep did n't want to agree to that amount because in the last two months he has been authorizing payments to take everything in my account and when I spoke with him he told me since I owe the bank for the credit card they can take any amount from my account with no explanation. ... |
June 10, 2015 - I have recently checked my credit report and I am showing - late payments on my account due no fault of my own. I requested that my statements be mailed as soon as possible to a different address due to me leaving town on an emergency and not having computer to pay for it online as I usual do. I was informed that this understandable and that all payments were received on time as arranged with the reps.
