I had a secured credit card with Navy Federal Credit Union ( NFCU ). I asked to close the account and use my security deposit to pay the account. NFCU did not use my security deposit to pay off the account. The account became delinquent without my knowledge. When I found out about this NFCU made me pay more money and did not remove the delinquent account from my credit file as they promised to do prior to me paying them.
