Navy FCU Credit card department,
I applied for a loan on -/-/-. ( Navy FCU ) .I called to get my status and was told I was turned down. They suggested I apply for a credit card ( NFCU/- ). I did so so. They did not tell me they would pull my credit again. Again I was turned down and was told by the person on the phone to apply for a loan consolidation. I did so and was not told they would pull my credit. Why should they? They had done it on -/-/-. I ended up with - hard pulls and no one had told me that I would get - other pulls : - -, -, and - I called on - -. On - -, - I spoke to - about the - hard pulls. He said the notes the notes confirmed that I had given my permission - times. I said I did not recall ever confirming - hard pulls. He said he would check the tapes and get back to me. On - -, I called and spoke to - who said - told him he had referred the matter to the inquiries Dept. I waited and then called again to get an update and spoke to -. She said the tapes showed I had agreed to hard pull credit checking. I said I did not remember doing so and to send me hard copies of the tapes. She said I would need a subpoena. I believe she is lying. Why would I agree to - hard pulls 3 days in a row?
