January 20, 2016 - My roommate received a pre-approved notice from Barclay Bank for a credit card. We have the same address AND he is an authorized user on my current Barclay Bank Delaware credit card. He submitted the application, however, they claim the letter was meant for me and they used my SS # to pull the credit report. November 20, 2015 - - - offered me a $20.00 discount on my $330.00 in store purchase if I applied for their credit card. I applied and the discount was not taken on my purchase. I asked that the application be stopped but the salesperson said it was too late. She said I would receive a check for $20.00 in the mail in the next weeks. A month later and still no check. September 23, 2015 - The Barclay 's MasterCard card benefits available to me when I signed up this - 2015 contained a 90 day purchase protection warranty up to $1000.00 per claim. August 3, 2015 - In - I had a hardship. I noticed that no matter how much I paid on my Juniper ( Barclay 's Bank ) credit card the balance never came down. I was at 12.99 APR. I thought this odd since all my other cc were higher interest and the balance was reflecting my payments. July 24, 2015 - I have been victimized by a rather elaborate scam where a woman posing as a representative of a shipping company has utilized holes in the Payment by Phone process used to pay credit card bills.
