Barclays Credit card department,
We have a credit card with Barclay 's that we recently opened. We purchased about - of goods and services and paid them off within 5 days of making the purchases. We then used their online system to pay them to full amount owed ( about - ). We did this with the understanding that we would have access to the revolving credit line to cover cash flow. The have placed a 10 day hold on the account even though they have been paid in full and the bank account that paid them has already paid them. While these terms are in the user agreement, these terms were not disclosed in the application or in anyway until after this issue was discovered. They failed to release the hold and this puts my family in a difficult position as we paid them expecting to be able to finance our daily lives using this card. I believe that this practice is illegal as they have already received full consideration and have the money in hand. These sorts of practices are a way for them to hassle people and to make sure we know that the bank is boss. You guys should do something. I know you wo n't. But you should.
