I had sufficient funds in my money market account to cover the overdraft but the bank chose instead to take the funds from my overdraft protection line of credit and charge me interest. Their excuse to me was that my money market account was n't linked to my checking account. I have been harassed up to four times per day including Sundays from the collections department after being promised by two managers to have the calls stopped. That 's OK and clearly described in their terms.
