Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Pennsylvania
I overdrew my checking account. I had sufficient funds in my money market account to cover the overdraft but the bank chose instead to take the funds from my overdraft protection line of credit and charge me interest. Their excuse to me was that my money market account was n't linked to my checking account. I had been told previously by local bank people that it would automatically come out of my money market account. I believe that this is a fraudulent practice by the bank to make more money at the customer 's expense.
