Amex consumers have reported over 99 official complaints related to Credit card protection / Debt protection. Out of the 99 consumer complaints against Amex, 33% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how Amex responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 31% of consumer complaints against Amex resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 1% resulted in non-monetary compensation.
