The charges made on this closed Amex account are preventing me from obtaining a new card from the company, despite having other cards from American Express which had no problems/issues associated with the accounts. The charges when the account was closed, consisted of fraudulent and unauthorized charges which were supposed to be covered by an insurance policy offered by American Express.
