I cancelled my American Express card after they allowed a third party to bill me for a transaction that they should not have been able to bill me for - despite overwhelming evidence that AME- should not have billed me, and after assurances that they would not allow that billing to happen. After lengthy debate with the third party - that party removed the charge - however, as AME- had failed to protect my assets ( after acknowledging that they have had hundreds of complaints about the same company for the same reason!! ) I maintained my position with regards cancelling my card. I have requested an ACCURATE, up to date bill from AME- several times - to date - they have not provided one. I have written to - - himself 3 times to try and get a resolution - this is still not resovled. The issue is that after 30 days they have started calling my work - despite several requests for them not to - again, in writing and directed to - - himself. They have my cell number but insist upon calling my work to demand settlement of a bill they have not even tendered accurately.,
