I have been working with American Express Fraud Dept. to settle these charges Each time I call ( over 20 times now ) I get a different person to talk to & get disconnected multiple times. I wrote the - letter on - -, - documenting what has happened. On - - I receive an email notice saying that my account was past due almost $4000.00. On - -, -, I filed a police report & faxed - pages of documentation to American Express Fraud Dept. I called them on - - to make sure they had received the fax - they did. I heard nothing from them. I called American Express on - -, -. Was disconnected 4 times in over an hour period of time. Talked with Supervisor & given new fraud case number -. I printed out my credit reports from - & -. Found that American Express had reported that my account was 30-60 days delinquent at each Credit Bureau for $6800.00. All of that money is from the fraud charges! I called American Express Credit Bureau Unit. They immediately referred me to the Fraud Department. - a Fraud representative said that she would investigate & get back to me this week. We shall see.
