Barclays consumers have reported over 35 official complaints related to Balance transfer. Out of the 35 consumer complaints against Barclays, 11% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how Barclays responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 49% of consumer complaints against Barclays resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 11% resulted in non-monetary compensation.

My monthly statement includes, in the minimum payment amount, interest over the preceding month separately calculated on my purchase and balance transfer balances ( also cash advance balance but I have no cash advance balance ). Nowhere in their Important Information does it say that if you have a balance with an APR vs a 0 % APR, that any monies paid will only go to the APR balance and not the 0 % APR promotional balance.
