I called in and spoke to a representative in the fraud department whom then sent me a code to my home phone number and verified that it is me. She proceeded to tell me that my account was triggered due to my recent address change. She then explained further that some aspect of the account sent my account for management review and that there is nobody that I can speak to call back in 1 week. After calling the number on the back of my card and being put to hold for an hour and a half to speak to a representative, I hung up. Thinking I 'd reach a representative faster if I called back using the " international collect '' number, I rang again. Finally, I reached a customer service representative. I just received notification that my account was closed due to inactivity in the last 12 months. Given the nature of the account being for medical needs, I never would have thought I needed to use it within a specific period of time to keep it open. How can I plan when medical needs will arise?
