Closing/Cancelling account Alabama

Over the last 5 to 10 years I have - credit cards that eventually were bought out by Synchrony Bank. I had one account that was closed that I have had open and current for over 5 years and the other for 1 year. Payments were to Rooms to Go, HH Gregg and Belk were always paid on time and or paid in full. The accounts were closed without my knowledge and without reasoning. Again I always make on time payments and due to this fact it hurting my credit score.
