Synchrony Bank Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Kentucky
I attempted to use my JCPenney credit card on -/-/15 and I was humiliated when my purchase was rejected. I was told to call a - number. I called the - number and I was told my account had been closed for " inactivity ''. I was told I must use my JCPenney card within 6 months or my account would be closed. I used my JCPenney card within 5 months without a problem, my account was still open in - 2015 when I used my JCPenney card. I attempted to use my JCPenney card again on - -, 2015 and JCPenney had closed my account fraudulently.
Prior to my account being closed, JCPenney also decreased my credit limit without notification. I was not notified as to why my credit limit had been decreased. JCPenney is conducting fraudulent activity to decrease customers credit limit without their knowledge and close their accounts when customers are not aware of their 6 month " inactivity '' rule. I was told I have to reapply for a credit card. My JCPENNEY credit card was used within their 6 month " inactivity '' rule my account should NOT have been " CLOSED ''. My JCPENNEY account should be re-opened and my information should NOT be reporting on my credit report as " closed '' due to " inactivity '', this is fraudulent information reporting on my credit report and my account was " closed '' fraudulently by JCPenney.
