When we talked -/-/-, I stated to her that I had a lawyer that was consolidating all of my loans ( private and federal ) no where in the conversation did she state that private loans could not be consolidated. July 27, 2015 - . In - of 2014 I called in to my student load holder and found out that my loans were in default. I then was set up on a payment agreement over my schedule payment to bring my loans out of default after 6 months. After completion of the 6 months my loans remain in default.
