June 3, 2016 - I have been receiving paper statements for my Discover personal loan, even though I had signed up for electronic statements when I received the loan. For over a year I had no issues, and received electronic statements and no paper statements in the mail, which is what I want. January 26, 2016 - Discover is now offering consolidation loans. I took - out and I also opened a discover " bank '' account. The bank account pulls money from my checking account but then holds the money for over a week. I want to say the funds were held for 7-10 days.
