I have been receiving paper statements for my Discover personal loan, even though I had signed up for electronic statements when I received the loan. For over a year I had no issues, and received electronic statements and no paper statements in the mail, which is what I want. I contacted Discover right away after receiving the first mailed statement and I was assured that it was a system update error and it would not happen again. I have contacted them about this issue 4 months in a row. I have explained to them that I have had mail stolen from my mailbox and I 'm concerned about identity theft, but they will not stop the paper statements.
