September 14, 2016 - On -/-/2016, I contacted Sebonic about refinancing my current FHA loan to a conventional. When I started the process with the first loan officer ( - ), everything was great. August 17, 2016 - This company will not respond to my concerns/complaints. I have tried to have a manager call me multiple times, but I have not heard back. My first complaint is that there has been no communication throughout the whole process and I feel like we have been left in the dark on our mortgage process. Emails were being returned in an untimely manner, if at all. I have still been waiting for a response about why my closing could n't happen when it was scheduled and that request was sent to a manager. It has been almost a week now. This makes me feel like my loan is not important to them. My second c...

July 16, 2016 - I have been working with Cardinal for months. I sent you a complaint a few weeks ago. Nothing was done, but not things are even more serious. I think they are intentionally trying to make sure that my loan is denied, probably because I filed the complaint. I was suppose to close on -. I did n't. Not because I had n't done what i was suppose to do, but because they kept changing the " fha guidelines ''. They constantly lie to me. I was told I had to verify funds of 1 % of the loan or more, but the day before closing they started demanding all this extra paperwork that is not required. They h...

March 30, 2016 - Sebonic/Cardinal financial keeps delaying loan closing and asking for documentation I 've already sent multiple times. They then keep adding rate lock extension fees for the delays because they wo n't acknowledge the paperwork I 've already sent. Even after they have acknowledged that they have all paperwork, they come back with more questions right before closing and then use this as an excuse to add additional extension fees. They know that it will take me 30 days to get another lender to finance the property so I have no recourse, but to pay their increased fees or lose the house. ...

October 7, 2015 - We went through the whole process and I got the final approval. However, in the final paperwork I found out that my fees increased by $2600.00, and there was no notice or communication from my loan officer. When I finally got hold on my mortgage officer ( on the day I was supposed to sign ), she explained that the change is due to the fact that my property is formally considered a condo, not a townhouse - and it 's my fault that I did not know the difference and mislead them. In my case, the lender knew that this was a condo from the appraisal report that came 20 days ago. Looking back, I re...
