I called asking if they offered a better rewards credit card than the 1 % Wells Fargo reward card that I had, because I kept getting better offers. The wells fargo representative told me they did indeed have a better offer and that I could go online to sign up for it. I went online and sure enough it stated in big bold colors and words. Wells Fargo & Company Credit card advertising and marketing February 4, 2017 - I signed up for a wells fargo credit card with two promotions. A $150.00 bonus after spending $1000.00 in the first 3 months and a $10.00 statement credit for using their mobile payment app with the card. I completed both and did not receive either bonus. When I contacted Wells Fargo about the matter they would not answer my question as to when the bonuses would be paid. I would like both promotions to be paid.... |

At the time, I was simply trying to re-establish my credit after a nasty divorce. A Personal Banker inside one of the local branches advised me to open a Secured Credit Card to help me in re-establishing myself. On the application form I filled out my details as suggested and gave all my information. I was denied a credit card on the grounds that I was not a citizen or a green card holder.
