Cardinal Financial Company, LP Mortgage loan servicing, payments, escrow account June 17, 2016 - I had sent Cardinal Financial my -/-/- monthly mortgage payment ( due on - - ) on - - in the form of - different money orders of $990.00 each, for a grand total of $2900.00, in a single envelope. But the bank only cashed - of them for $1900.00 on - - and applied that amount towards principle, as my total monthly due amount is $2700.00. In essence they lost the third money order. My real estate taxes which are due on -/-/2015 have not been paid. I received a past due notice from the County which I forwarded by email to the tax department of my loan servicer. I also left two messages on their online banking messaging system that have not been responded to. I finally made a call to the company and simply asked for a confirmation email that the taxes would be paid before the past due date and that they would be responsible for any late charges resulting from a late payment. However, in the final paperwork I found out that my fees increased by $2600.00, and there was no notice or communication from my loan officer. When I finally got hold on my mortgage officer ( on the day I was supposed to sign ), she explained that the change is due to the fact that my property is formally considered a condo, not a townhouse - and it 's my fault that I did not know the difference and mislead them. Cardinal Financial Company, LP Mortgage application, originator, mortgage broker September 23, 2015 - After over 35 days, the underwritters at a Cardnial Financial subsidiary company Sebonic, starting asking me for documenets that they KNOW I do n't have since this would have been revealed in my original paperwork, such as - and over - in liquid funds. This was a waste of my valuable time and cost me additional interest charges on my current loan that I would not have had to pay if I had known upfront not to go with this loan.
