Rash Curtis and Associates Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt November 4, 2016 - I have repeatedly requested that Rash Curtis & Associates provide me with an explanation of the amount they claim I owe, how that amount was calculated, account history. They have refused to provide this or any copies of documentation that this debt is in fact mine. Yet they have been willing to put this unverifiable debt on my credit report, as well as send me a continuing stream of collection letters. Please see attached.... |

Rash Curtis and Associates Debt collection communication tactics called after sent written cease of comm October 24, 2016 - I received a phone call on my direct line at my place of employment on -/-/- at which time I sent them a letter via fax and USPS to cease and desist contacting me at my place of employment during my work hours. I have continued to receieve phone calls : -/-/2016 at - -/-/2016 at - -/-/2016 at - I have sent them 4 notices, all faxed and then sent by standard USPS delivery. On -/-/- I spoke to a woman named - who verified that they had received my communications and was unsure why I was continuing to get calls. She was going to contact their IT department.... |

When I disputed the validity of this debt with the company through a validation letter sent via certified return receipt mail, the company turned around and verified the debt as a valid debt to the credit bureaus, whereas they were required by the FDCPA to report the debt as " disputed. When I do answer there is nobody on the line, sometimes there is a recording requesting me to call back. There voice messages which typically last 2-3 seconds have no information and just clog up my voicemail box. This is very frustrating and feels like harassment. ... |
